"Forest has the Blues" has certainly exceeded our expectations
of what we might achieve with it so far!
An absolute highlight and complete surprise has been to have my moth plant linocut chosen as the cover image for the Spring 2018 edition of Imprint magazine.
Imprint is the quarterly magazine dedicated to contemporary fine art printmaking published by the Print Council of Australia. Become a member of the PCA to receive a subscription to Imprint and you’ll also receive entry forms to some of the current awards and competitions available to artists.
Forest has the Blues is a collaborative print project, initiated by Celia Walker and includes 7 artists and fourteen year 13 students from Pukekohe High School. You can read more about the project in my previous blogs here and here.
Celia has written for Imprint before and so was keen to submit an article about this project. We were very excited to hear that her article was accepted. We were beyond delighted when we received our own copies to see the article and photographs fill 5 pages.
